That’s what they tell us. That’s what they say.

Our all time national debt level matters little. Hyperinflation is a third world country nemesis. Your food, including the food for your pets is safe. Vaccinations are safe too. And the spigot water you drink, wash and brush with. Your dollar is sound. The list goes on and on and on.

That’s what they tell us; that’s what they say.

 A while back it was dangerous pet food imported from China. More recently the CDC announced a huge recall of several pet food manufacturers here in the US. Anything but safe. Laced with massive doses of Vitamin D, and we’re talking massive here, it was causing kidney failure and death in these innocent but dependent animals.

That’s what they tell us. That’s what they say.

There was a second recall and warning this year about E-coli contaminated Romaine lettuce. We recently spoke with a grocer at a major chain market who told us how much of the produce they struggled to quickly remove from shelves and the waste involved. It was a big and costly undertaking.

These are isolated events.That’s what they tell us; that’s what they say. A recent story we saw reported that officials went to several units of a major, well-known fast food chain. They found feces contamination on every computer screen at every outlet employees used. They tell us our huge conglomerate-produced food supply is safe as are all the additives put into the processing of packaged foods.

That’s what tell us; that’s what they say. 

They tell us the air we breathe on commercial airlines is clean. Stuck for four hours in a germ-ridden incubator that unlikely never gets properly cleaned and decontaminated is safe. As is cramming approximately 12 more passengers into smaller space, into water closets so small many can’t even turn around. And the medicines we take they too are safe.

That’s what they tell us. That’s what they say. It’s so easy to be smart with somebody else’s money, health and heart.
